for you guys with longer shackles( 52" front spring swap or other) i intended to throw the set of cheapo headers that came on my 350 for fit till crossmember mods for the doubler were ironed out (85 chevy frame) surprise!!!!! 
rh side had no chance of fitting, lh was close also. so i started looking for options. stock manifolds were one choice? weld up headers $$$ 
as i looked at header pics i saw the shorty style that summit racing listed that wouldn't fit newer applications i compared to the set i had and gave them a shot! guess what no crossmember clearance issues at all 
the end tubes are close to stock length plugs but shorter plugs should work fine. just thought i would share info
