shorty headers

i just clocked my 208, ive got longtube headers on there now and the drive shaft his the collector/reducer.

id rather sacrifice my exhaust than my ground clearance seeing as i was getting my exhaust redone anyway.

so does any one know where i can get a cheap pair of shorty headers or should i try and find a decent set of manifolds?

also has anyone tried puting shorties from ann 88-up truck on a pre 88 truck?

I've used Gibson shortys on my 90 blazer. They fit pretty well, except I had to make a small notch on the passenger side frame. Never leaked but also never felt any kind of gain in HP, but I really never expected it. You may also have to change some spark plug wires to straight ends.

Edelbrock makes direct bolt in shorty headers that have all the emissions fittings you need.
