im runin propane so i would just have to plug hole and notch frame right, just makin shure you do run cast heads right, also do you see any reason it would not work w hydo cluch. im just runin 4 in tc lift

If you want to weld a little, and cut the bung off, and weld it closed, you will clear the frame fine.

I put a plug in the bung on mine, and ground it down far enough that it doesn't hit the frame. Nothing is really holding the plug in, and i should address that sooner than later, but all im saying is that w/o the bung, you won't have to grind the frame. Good luck!

the header 4x4high has what i thank i want but i think they are are meant to hook to stock y pipe. mine are custom pipes. and the one munepit have are for tbi w the air tubes.

Mine said it would fit a stock exhaust system. Wrong. I had to get it modified. Did'nt line up.

Scotts do NOT hookup to the stock y-pipe. I just put the same ones on, had to get a new y pipe made.

Also, how do you hookup AIR injection to a TBI motor? I'm lost on that, i thought that was part of the Vortec emissions system.

In the last pic I posted, the A.I.R. on the header, A rubber hose goes from there to the little pipe on the left side of the pic. That little metal pipe is where the stock pipe went. the hose connects both. Hope you got that.

Darren, some TBI's had an A.I.R. pump system but i've yet to see one in person.

So is mine rare or something, like the black sheep. I thought all TBIs had that. Maybe a Cali thing? If you need any advice, jusk ask me. Ha Ha!!

go figure...... mines an 87 jersey TBI rig, and it had A.I.R....

I've strongly been considering not running the A.I.R lately...... it's going to make my cog belt setup a real pain to do... I was ready to run it, but now we only have a sniffer test here..... pretty sure i could get away without it as long as my numbers are good...

gonna have to decide soon tho, headers are next on the shopping list...

I thought manual ytans vehicles had a i r and autos didnt. My 90 pickup was a manual and it donated the motor for my 90 blazer which was auto. The pu had a i r and the blazer didn't but both were TBI.

yes, brand new but from autozone. i just got some headmans 69640 and think they are going to work very nice.
