So we caught this animal in the mother inlaws barn the other day. We saw 2 of them in the yard last fall about this time. They disappeared for the winter.

Never really saw them again until lately when something started eating the dog food in the barn. Eventually it made itself home in one of the box stalls and wouldnt leave. So they shot it last week. Guess it took him a couple shots to get it as it was jumping about 4 or so feet off the ground. Figured Id post some pics up to see what ya guys think it is.

They had a conservation officer come pick it up. The guy figured it might have been a wild dog that bred with something at one time and it grew up all deformed and what not :dunno:

chupacabra!

Saw a video on one of em things.

Wierd thing is that it has pretty short/thin hair. Musta found somewhere real warm to den up over the past winter. Gets pretty cold here, around -40 Celcius.

Also It didnt even bother the barn cats. If I were it, to hell with dry dog food when there is fresh cat walking around :D:haha:

Looks like a grey fox with some kind of mange or skin problem, poor little guy must have been miserable.

Ya I think he was in pretty rough shape, just skin and bones.

Im quite suprised they survived last winter. I wonder if the other one is still around here or if it had died not long before this one showed up in the barn :dunno:. The neighbors seen 2 of them together early summer, so whatever happened to the other is anyones guess.
