Should a 78 Blazer 350 ci have an Oxygen sensor (O2) for California?

I wouldn't think a 78 would, but I don't know what all was involved with the Ca. emissions.

no unless you have put some kind of fuel injection on it. but if it is stock then no it dont need one

hey scott, noticed your in monrovia me and a couple of members are going up to Azusa tommorow if your intrested.
My 78 C20 has one for CA emissions
cant think of any functional reason for it to be on there... but its there

I was thinking of going up to Azusa, but I have NO tow hooks on the front. If I got stuck I would be screwed. I went to pick-a-part a few days ago, but I didn't see any. I just want to find some factory hooks for now untill I get REAL bumpers.
P.S. I just got back from the smog station and I passed smog /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif (no 02 required)
