Should I buy it?

My buddy has a brand new in box MSD Distributor Part Number #8361 and the Ignition Control Box #6420-6AL. They sell for about $470 through summitracing.com and he only wants $300 for them both. Should I go for it or not? What would be the performance advantages?

I have heard good and bad . I heard it is a waste on injection tho. but now I am curious too.

mine is still carbd but I think I will either run straight propane or dual propane/gas. there are other things I could spend the money on too, I think I will be doing some head work so that money could go to that instead.
