Whats the end state purpose for this next rig?

Something pretty:) Daily driving, Towing, Light off road and something to fall back on if the Blazer takes a crap. May be used as a recovery rig for the blazer.

There is a 50% chance I might get a hair up my butt and swap all the goods from the blazer to a truck.

I really miss the convenience of a truck bed...

I say go for the 87. You're already starting off with a 4x4 so you won't have to spend time converting this and that, it's TBI which is nice to have because you'll get better mileage and offroad driveability, it's clean and it's got a manual trans.

Talk the dude down $500 if you can and go for it.

700R4 Trans is an auto, yes?

Any info on why the '87 says "Not a daily driver" in the add and why he is selling it after such a short time?

EDIT: I am taking that to mean there are problems, but could be wrong.

Solid truck. Not a daily driver, I've only put about 100 miles or less since purchase. Clean interior, brand new Pioneer deck, 10 inch Pioneer sub-woofer with pioneer amp & Pioneer components. I have cleaned the interior from top to bottom, replaced radiator hoses, changed the fluids, 4x4 works great, Rhino lined, Python alarm, Leer shell included. Have receipts of all work I've completed. Title in hand.

Not a huge deal for me, but sounds like he is selling it before transferring it to his name.

He said he needed cash bad and fast over the phone. Even willing to take payments.:dunno:

Nice, you gonna go for it? With taxes coming up in 1 month, I am making my list of needed / wanted items for mine.:waytogo:

I get back in town around the 21st. If it's still for sale, I'll take her on a test drive:D I have cash in hand and been looking for something good and clean. Knowing my luck, I'll get there a day late and it will be sold... That crap happens all the time.

What ya got on your list?

The ad says manual, that's why I asked.

Martin

Over the phone he said 4 speed auto and has overdrive?? Maybe he posted the add wrong:dunno: Or does not know what he has lol! Only 100 mi driven...

It's probably a TH700R4 and he just posted the ad wrong. That's too bad.

the shortbox dude!

Have Keith go test drive em for ya.

a long bed can look cool and be very cool for a daily driver light duty wheeler, but IMHO it will never be as cool as a short box for the same job
