SHOULD I BUY THIS JIMMY FOR $500

I can buy a 1974 GMC jimmy 4X4 for $500 (could probably get it for $300) it is fairly rusted out (quarter panels, rocker panels, etc) it has a 350 chevy with an automatic tranny it runs very good and the tires are 235's in decent shape i cant remember how the interior is but my question is,, Is this truck going to be worth $500 to me i already have a very good shape 84 but i thought maybe i could fix this one up and have a decent trail truck or sell it

I would buy it and turn it into a trail only truck. With it being rusted out and stuff already, you don't have to worry about body damage, and then you also keep your 84 in very good shape. That is what I plan on doing in AZ. I am going to find a K5 cheap, and build it to beat in the rocks, and keep my 85 for my DD and in pretty good shape.

So did you buy it already? Post links to pictures. I just bought two blazers for $51 on Ebay. Yes Fifty-one doll hairs! I was able to salvage many parts I needed that would have cost me over $500 from other sources. JUST DO IT!
