thinking of trading my DD 92 chevy ext cab shorty for a 89 4x4 crew cab. FI 454. 205, 60 front 70 rear, shift kitted 400, decent shape.

the ext cab is in awesome shape, 186Kmiles...

Nice bright red truck. pw, pl, cruise, a/c, fuel injected 454 rebuilt 50 psi oil pressure at idle warm, auto Turbo 400 w/shift kit, blaupunkt, new "Ultra" directional wheels. Truck has $1200.00 exhaust system; custom made headers and terminator mufflers. $1200.00 in new wheels. Looks and runs great. Will consider trading for 90 or newer GMC/Chevy 4x4. I want a short box with standerd cab, but will consider other of same value. Or, may trade for, or take as partial trade: Muscle car/antiuqe/classic Thank you

Sounds like you'd be crazy not to do it. That truck looks nice in that tiny little picture. Yet, tiny little pictures can be decieving.
