Have a th350 installed torque converter about an inch in fully engaged and sounds like its rubbing against pump bolts when I spin it? Is it supposed to spin real easy and freely by hand. I figure it will pull back from the pump a little when I tighten it down to the flex plate. Any info would between sweet.

Should Torque converter rubber againt pump bolts during install?

Yes the convertor might rub on the pump bolts until you pull it forward and bolt it up to the flexplate.
