Show me your flames....

wanting to do flames on the front of my K5 and wanting to see pics of flames people on this site have done. I need ideas.

Ah cool, blank slate... I'm always like Metallic blue with a pearl (white) flame overlay. If you want red and blue... I'd go with gold base coat and do the red flames and the blue body in a candy (transparent colors).

whoa...whoa...this is not gonna be a show truck (however, I do like your ideas...maybe for my 71 stepside). This is a trail beater. I am gonna spray it with bedliner...yeah, that's right, bedliner. Flames will be red, and the rest will be dark blue. I was just wanting pics of k5's with flames so I could get some ideas.

We spray bedliners everyday and occasionally insides and outsides of trucks. I figured, why not do my blazer(already did the inside in black). I also figured it may draw some attention to my shop. I have yet to see a two tone bedliner truck. The last whole truck we did, we did it in dark blue and the bed(inside) was black. Turned out really good.

Any suggestions?

They are painted with PPG Blue to Red Harlequin..

Take a look at my Triumph on my web site http://www.southernspeedservices.com .I stole the idea from gaylords, the tonnaeu cover people.It's magenta over silver fading to purple at the end of the flames.
