I have an 88 silverado with a 2 tone white and silver paint job with chrome bling on the sides and since the hood is peeling like an irish dude at the beach  im thinking about rippin off all the old skin and chrome bling, sanding her down, and letting maaco spend some quality time with her. Can't decide on what color so,....help me out brothers. I want to see alll your paint schemes. If you got a cheap one or a 10,000 one post it up! I could use the ideas.

Thanks for the help

well, you certainly don't wanna go with the crap brown i started with.. mine was brown with white insets. but i ditched the white for a copper. it was a simple mod, no jambs, etc.. the main reason i did it was to ditch all the pinstripe tape, bodyside mouldings and wheelwell trim in prep for when i go a single color in a few years.... well, that and i hate white.. the 2 tones are cool, but i'll do all one color when i go over the body. i've got full sheetmetal sitting downstairs, so in a couple years when i decide to do the body, i'll do a color change..

what i'll go with? who knows... it'll either be camo'd out at that point or some drastic color like the copper or this custom red orange i made up..

simple, Go Olive Drab and when it gets scratched up just take an SOS pad and scuff the surface, then respray the thing. a $64 paint job! :D and it looks tuff as hell!

whats up with that front wheel situation?

i painted my truck cumming beige, the high temp engine paint from auto zone, looks pretty good

lol damn someone noticed, I hadnt swapt the front to 8 lug and I wanted to see what it would look like so I used the trusty paint, guess I didnt do so good

Here is my custom 4 tone paint job. Paint jobs of this quality don't happen over night, they take years!
