Show Us Your Cable Shifters

I have a NWF Titan Box/205 combo. At the time JB Fab didn't have a shifter setup that worked with the Titan box (different than the eco box/black box). He thought his black box one would work so I ordered a buggy style triple stick shifter from him. Once I was getting everything together, I realized his black box version wasn't going to work for the Titan Box. Got on the phone with JB Fab and NWF and got everything worked out pretty good (both companies were very good about it all and were great to work with). So ended up getting a single shifter from NWF for the Titan Box (the cable has to come from the front of the vehicle for the titan box, whereas everything from JB Fab has the cables coming from the rear) and then exchanged my triple stick shifter for a twin stick shifter from JB fab with a flush mount kit too. JB fab even reworked my 1 knob to fit on NWF's shifter so all the knobs matched free of charge, so that was pretty cool.

I built a very simple platform that replaced the center council (even bolts in the same places) that I have my tranny shifter and all my cable shifters. For me, even sitting in my seats strapped into the harness's I can reach all the levers easily. They've worked great for the last two years

Anyone have tips or tricks for installation and/or adjustment of the JB Fab shifters?

@85 Jimmy and I have the same shifter (JB Fab buggy type) and Doubler (ORD) AND the same shifting issues. Both 203’s shift fine but both 205’s don’t want to shift on the rear (“stuck” in low) and only neutral or low on the front. :dunno:

I also have ord doubler and buggy style shifter . Long loops do you have adjustable detents?

I forgot to add that - I have adjustable detents, 85 Jimmy does not.

You both have the same issue? Triple stick ?

Yes, same issue. Seems really weird we'd both experience the same problem, that's why I was wondering if I'd missed something on assembly.

I’m sure you guys have checked for binding or anything like that just thought I’d throw it out there I know I had to make room with a hammer to the floor.

Not really binding. My doubler is hanging down and not bolted up to the crossmember. But, I definitely don't have the 12" minimum in the loop to the front, more like 7"-8".
