haha it was funny my dad was messing with my carb on my truck he had it flooded...started it and it blew flames out i thot it was awesome!! wow fun little momets with q-jetz!

Yep, the flaming carb is always a blast. Had that a couple months ago with my holley when my timing was WAY off and we were trying to get it to start.

Happened on mine too, TBI is worse, electric fuel pump feeds a lot better when the motor is already off

LOL i agree... nearly burnt my eyebrows off when i was first timing it... then when i pulled the dist and started it up the flames got all the way up to my hood and just about set my junk on fire.
accel pump is the culprit along with timing.
