Sick 400??

Within the last week, when I go out to start up the Jimmy in the morning theres a real audible ticking sound coming out of the motor on the right side. Then as it warms up the ticking sound goes away. Now its starting to get worse, any ideas on what it is? Sticking lifter??? Thanks.

Possible sticky lifter, but more likely an out of adjustment rocker arm. Run the lash on the valvetrain, it will probably clear up the noise.

I'd check your oil...just to make sure its not low/out!

Do you know if any major damage can occur if I drive it a little bit with an out of adjustment rocker arm?

having the rockers properly adjusted is pretty vital to prevent excessive/rapid wear...it just won't to breathe right, valves need to fully open and close.
