Side mirrors

I just had a random question...How are they attached? I never gave any this any thought, and can't look at the truck right now cause its the middle of the night. Are they bolted on somehow? Or attached with adhesive? Thanks

If you mean the mirror itself to the housing.. It is just a type of silcone..

I mean how is the complete mirror assembly attached to the door of the truck...

sheet metal screws, taped into the door. i think they screw socket size is somthin like 8mm, or 3\8ths, or somthing like that, its a small head on the screw. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

The outer housing has a small torx screw on the bottom, after removing it, you can slide the housing up exposing 3(I think)sheet metal bolts, can't remember the head size but you will figure it out.
