What are some of the better open air woofers available for the side panel install? I am looking at putting probably a single 10" in my rig.

Kicker solobaric are good for tight spaces. Afreeair sub is designed for a huge box like a trunk...they still have to be sealed off..this is kind of decptive. I used to think you could just mount them to a board and they would be fine, not so. Or if you are buying a sub get one that requires the lease amount of space for a sealed enclosure and fill the area behind the speaker with poly fill

Speaking of solobarics, Has anyone seen the new Kickers? They are Square subs! Kinda odd, I wanna hear how they sound...

I have an 10" Solobaric and it's got plenty of punch for me. It takes a nice little sealed box. .66 cubic feet I think.

I like the small box subwoofers, they seem practical without sacrificing any sound.. I had a Polk db sub that called for a .85 cu. ft. box.. Very nice.
