Mine are 31yrs old so there broke off...What can I do and keep them sliding.Every one so far olny says to screw them shut.Whick I did in the winter.

If you are talking about the sliding window latches, I picked mine up from Napa. Pretty inexpensive, and they work great. They are also available in the Help section usually.

One thing I ran into is that the length of the screws in the kit weren't long enough to get through the plastic on the inside, let alone screw into the outer nub.

Well I still have everything but the folding part,so I can reuse the screws. Do you remember what to ask for at NAPA,so I don't have to stand there and explain it all day,LOL.
Also what can I use to lube the windows to make them slide easier?

I couldn't find anything to make the windows slide easier, so I have replaced the felt slides with the ones from LMC. The passenger side slides as smooth as silk, I haven't gotten to the drivers side yet.

As for the latches, I believe that I just asked for side window latches for a Blazer and they pulled it right up. I will double check when I get home, but I may still have the package so I can give you the part number. It would be tonight before I would get it to you, but that is a possibility.

Mine were the same way, the folding latch was gone but the rest was there, so I just used the original screws.

Edit: According to Napa's site, the part number should be BK 7351283. It should be about $5 each, and it appears from the picture to be the same as what I have.

Thanks,thanks a lot!!
Im going to try to go today, but I only have about 2 1/2 hours to go measure my driveshaft, pick up said D/S,take it to the shop,go to sportsing store look at guns :), blah blah..etc But they are sorta along the way.

Were you able to get them, and were they the right part? Just want to make sure I didn't steer you in the wrong direction.

Drill hole in the outside of the sliding track , USE CB radio style thumbscrews . Then you have a lock that looks pretty .

So that sounds like it was the right part then. Glad to know that I hadn't sent you on a wild goose chase.

Cool, maybe that part number can help others who are looking for those latches. Now if I would just get me another screw to attach the driver's side better:doah:

I put it on today , its a little tight , im gonna have to mess with it a bit.

my cousin broke mine yesterday im so glad these are not a needle in a haystack i found the manufacturer for the original latches Southco they still make the exact same latch! haha
