When I step on the brakes all my corner/signal lights come on steady, and both turn signal indicator lights on the dash come on steady until I take my foot off the brake. Turn signals also dont flash.

I just finished a motor swap, but as far as I can tell I never unhooked anything related to any lights.

Any ideas? It's on an 84' K5 Jimmy.

try your 4 way to see if the flasher works for that. If it does, I think the signals have a separate flasher, try swapping them.

A trailer plug problem is the quickest place to look. If not, then about 85 to 90% of the time you have lost the ground to your brake light sockets.
When you power up the brake lights, the power backfeeds through the double element bulbs into your signal light system.
Sometimes only one corroded socket is enough to do it.
Usually your turn signal indicators will light up when you turn on the headlights too.

No trailer plug, so I'll try checking all the brake light grounds and replacing the bulbs and sockets.

Had the exact same problem in my 79 malibu. replaced all tail light sockets and they work great. Took me weeks to figure it out.
