silly brake lights

my brake lights are giving me a serious headache. the brakelights don't work when the headlights switch on> they will work with the lights off. the backup lights work correctly also. I've looked at all the connections and checked the grounds. most frusrating thing of all is my marker lights up front and clearance lights come on when the brake lights do any help would be great i'm sure somebody has had this problem also thanks matt

gotta be a wire pinched. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gifall our f 700's did the same thing after three years. one of them had all the lights come on WHEN you hit the brakes?????

This just start happening? Or is it a truck you just bought, etc?

Sounds to me like someone may of screwed with the wiring, or pinched wire like boggerless said.
