have you checked craiglist they have some good deals on some 33 gal compressors. And daryl like I said you can bring Jr to my shop, everything you need will be there, Tig welder, Mig welder, plasma cutter, lathe etc. Oh yeah and you can work inside...lol

I mapquested it and it would be 4hrs. 15 minutes. I'm thinking about it. I had been planning on taking the truck to badlands july 4th weekend. Let's see some more pics from silver lake
the swamp used to be the best part of SL, but I don't think its open anymore.
If I can make it to the Badlands, you can make it to Silver Lake. If you've never been there, you have to go. I can assure you that the dunes are much better than those few dunes at the Badlands, which don't even seem to be real sand. The Badlands definately have more variety, but Silver Lake is an experience every 4-wheeler needs to have.

3/4 ton status
hey guys, its been a while since ive been on here. Jess told me you guys are planning a trip, so i figured id post.
i can make it, but i would be riding with someone, unless i can borrow my friends or my parents truck. the weekends are good for me except for the 26th and 27th. i can take a vacation day after the 14th i believe, ill have to look into that. i also get usually the first 2 weeks off beginning of july, but that changes every year. pick a date and ill try my best to be there.
BTW, my dad sells Silver Lake flags, he said he would sell them for $20 each. they usually are $22-28 up there. im sure if we ask Steve and for a few bucks more, my dad can put a CK5 logo on the flag. if anyone needs some i can bring them up with me. or anyone can pick them up here.
on the vouchers, if someone wants to go up early and get a bunch for that would be great. all you need are names and plate numbers.
ill try to check back regularly, but lately ive been very busy.

i havn't worked on my truck in a while. kinda lost the momentum i had going working on other stuff, currently its my bike. ive been thinking of getting a blazer to put my stuff in though. a few friends of mine have gotten up to 3 at a time, thats all that usually go at one time. but if need be, id be willing to make multiple rounds to get enough. i believe i would be the closest one at 100 miles away, but its still a 2 hour trip for me.

There is a nice set of trails behind TGIF fridays on West main. Pretty deep ruts and, lots of off camber situations and lots trees
