Silver Solder Question

Can you braze cast iron and brass together with silver solder?

I have used silver solder with just brass in the past and was very pleased with the results.

I know cast iron can be funny to work with sometimes.

When we got stuff brazed he always used bronze, but I would think silver would have similar properties, might be more expensive though.
