Since I have my front end completely torn out right now I was thinking it might be a good time to see if converting to a single front bake line was worth it. It would be like a Dodge front end or I think the ORD Blazer has done this? Has anybody tried this? Thanks.

I like the idea, but I'm not sure what you mean. The wheels still have to turn left and right, so you need a flexible connector at each wheel right?

Yeah, and then a hard line that runs to the center of the axle, a juction of some sort and then a single line that goes up. I have had a few tires come off the rim and take out the flexible brakeline with it.

I don't know about yours, but my 79 Sub's rear line is short. Likely too short to work. I converted all three to braided using screw together fittings and -3 hose from Orme Bros. I ordered one extra of each fitting and two extra hose ends, plus enough extra hose to remake the longest hose. Those all go in the spares box.
