Single VS Dual Exhaust?

I'm new here.....how do you get an avatar or photo to show with your name?

I have a single 3" system with a Magnaflow cat and a super 40, all mandrel bent tubing and some ball socket connectors. I have $200 just in parts for my exhaust not counting headers and I did all of the work myself. I will put headers on later but I do not have the cash for them and will be a set or Thorleys or TES from edlebrock.
