If you measure from the top of the axle to the bottom of the frame I will compare to my blazer and let you know. There is also a thread with this info somewhere, sorry I'm not sure how to post links from my phone.
This might help...it's roughly what to look for, assuming you have stock front shackles (I think they were about 4.5" long) and nothing on the frame has been changed, all of which is unlikely anyway.
Basically, if you have a positive arc spring, lay a straightedge or something across the spring eyes and measure to the center pin on top of the main leaf. If that measurement is 2", you have a lift spring that is 2" (your measurement) + 2" (the arc of the stock negative arc spring) = 4" lift spring.
Or in other words, a perfectly flat spring with no curve to it would be about a 2" lift spring.
My Dad grew up in Charleston, most of his family still lives there.
Wow that's perfect. Just what I was looking for! I noticed some steel hollow square tube pieces above the frame which makes me think he (previous owner) put some kind of lift on it.
I just moved to charleston, sc. I'm loving it! But I'm coming from Newport, or so anywhere makes that look terrible. Haha
