Hey,
I'm going to pick up either a 2wd sector shaft or a 2wd box soon. I have a puller, but don't know what size that massive nut is that holds the 2wd pitman on. Or is it more of a "use the cresent wrench" type deal ?
Thanks for any ideas...
Blake

you will need more than just crescent wrench, it will take some pipe and a breaker bar, i use 3/4" drive, they are VERY tight.

good luck

I've got a 3/4" drive set Blake, since you've got my ball joint adjuster anyway /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Or we could just put it on my truck as soon as my parts get here /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think you should use that Hammer we found, a junkyard screwdriver and a jack handle. That should do the trick. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif ***

When are you going "junkin'"?

Also to hijack your thread - Chris you are back in town? We all need to go junkyardin'

*** Edit - tbis is what we used at Melloways to remove a 32 Spline Output out of a Frawd NP205! Worked nicely.

Step 1, take box home
