I wanted to get you guy's opinions on a beast of a blast cabinet that I've found on Craigslist. I wasn't really looking for one that seriously, but I've always wanted to have one and with my new big garage I will have room for something like this.

The 1436 model is really designated "commercial use" and %100 duty cycle so this is major overkill, but it is selling for $1600 and I might could get it for a couple hundred less. This cabinet was used TWICE… It literally looks brand new! I could fit gigantic stuff in there too for refinishing - awesome Work area measures 46" w, 34" d, 27" h.

Check out that awesome filtration system too!

What do you guys think?!!

considering barebones, non foot pedal ones run almost a grand or so, i'd say it's a smoking deal.. what's the new price? i'm guessing around 3g's... invaluable tool for old car/truck guys imo... I think of all the stuff I could have used one for over the yr's, and I kick myself for not having done it sooner...

my homemade one works killer, and that makes it look like a turd... :haha:

That bad boy sells for over $3500 from TP tools - the manufacturer! And made in good ole US of A is a slam dunk to me. I followed your cabinet build closely Paul, it came out really awesome and you'd nearly convinced me that I might try my hand at making one too.. But now that I stumbled on this I'm dying to justify picking it up - I think this one's just too good to pass on.

at that kinda savings, I'd jump on it if you can swing it... you could fit some BIG parts in that sucka! :waytogo:
