skid plates

Random:

I used a large piece of 1/2" plate steel /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif to make skid plate for a 20 gallon blazer gas I stuck under the @ss of my Sub. Sure it weighs another 100 lbs. or so but who cares, I'll never dent another gas tank. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

And since I'm only carrying about 1/2 the gas I can't even tell. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I extended the motor mounts and built a new crossmember that sits inside the frame instead of under it.I have a 2" body lift and I sill had to cut out some of my floor for clearance /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif It was too easy not to do it.The added clearance is great /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Sort of off topic but--Does anyone make a bolt on skid plate for a 203? Or will a stock one from a 208 or 241 work?

GM, they came stock and went from the front case X-member to the back one.
