I in the process of installing my Sky crossover steering and notice that I can only thread the TREs in the bent pipe about 1/2" othewise it won't reach. Is this common or is something not right?

Thanks,
Ray

I have the Sky set-up on my D44 also.

My ends are not far in either. It is kinda of uncomfortable. I ended up measuring mine while it was apart and threading it to the max lenght I felt comfortable with and then installed it. As a result, my steering is not centered. It could stand to be longer.

All TRE and DRE should be threaded to their max depth with only a few threads left showing for adjustment.

If you only have a half inch of thread in the Drag link it sounds like the drag link is too short.
