Don't allow any paint/grease/oil, in between the arm and the knuckle, just a clean bare metal on metal. No gasket, nothing.

I ended up stripped out a stud and hole in my knuckle with one these studs. Still not sure what I will do about it.

Well, you do have options. You can go to 9/16" thread and drill the arm accordingly. The D60 nut taper is just a normal lug nut so you can get them up to 5/8 easily.

was thinking about that, but then I might as well drill and tap them all. Think I may well end up doing that.
