I have had this '68 K10 for like 8 years now. I bought it off Craigslist over in Moses Lake, WA which is a couple hours from Spokane, where I live. I called the guy pretty soon after it was posted & after talking for a while I discovered that I knew him. He was an acquaintance of my dad in the classic car world of Eastern WA. So my buddies & I loaded up & road tripped over to get it, I couldn't low ball him too hard because he was a friend & he was only asking $700. The rear diff was blown & it really didn't run good, but I drove it on the trailer.
At the time I didn't have any plans or means to get going on it anytime soon, so it sat. The plates that were on the truck when I got it we're truly inspiring.
I didn't know what I was going to do until @Mr.Clean shared his "Papa Smurf" build, that planted a seed but I never got the time to start so last week I sold the truck to a friend of a friend.
I gave them 1 of the license plates, I am keeping another for a future Sky Wolf project.
I don't know what my point is with this thread, but I haven't contributed to the site in a while, so here are a couple pics to check out.
