Has anyone seen poly bushings on shocks just crumble? I started to tighten them and barely any pressure and they just fell apart. Both shocks did it and only it was only the top bushings did it.

Sounds like REALLY old bushings.

Contact Skyjacker (or wherever you bought them), they should replace them free of charge.

Thats what i was thinking! It sure did piss me off! I had bought them from 4 wheel parts. Im going to call them tommorow.

dude i have had the same prob with mine and my steering stabilizers... i was thinkin it was from some kind of binding but im not for sure! whenever you figure it out let me know!

I work at a 4x4 shop and we just a had a whole batch of shocks come through with bad bushings, the poly would actually scrape away with your fingernail. Call Skyjacker, good company to deal with and I'm sure they know there is a problem by now.

Well i had emailed 4 Wheel Parts yesterday and they responded back with The Sky Jacker is sending me new bushings. It didn't take much convincing at all i guess they where aware of the issue.

got a few sets also. push in by hand and push in steel tube by hand. all with little grease and then first test drive get back and thay are m.i.a on the ride. thay fall apart.

must be a bad cure job on the poly.

Im doing my front shocks with skyjacker now any one know what ones too use up front? Mine is the factory dual shocks. And 4 wheel parts had sold me the 4 N8023 looks like they will work on the ones straight up and down. But not the ones that angle towards the back they are too long. Looks like those should be the N8021 is that right?

skip the quad / 4 shock stuff. just do 1 per corner. rides better and flexes better. and best saves you money. search this and this is the basic opinion here on quad shocks.
