1/2 ton status
While I was searching parts for my auto to manual swap, I came up with this idea. Could it be possible to mount slave cylinder from Z28 Camaro on a input shaft of a SM465? Is there enough room for it?

Ah yes, the unwritten write up.38377k5 said:Agreed
Doing it like this sounds a lot better to me

That'll be the way I do it for sure, but if a guy lacks the ability to fabricate a bracket, has a manual housing, and likes to pull out cast iron gearboxes, then you could go with the hydro throwout bearing I guess. Would be easy, as long as it doesn't fail. I do like the ease of an external slave though. Sure is quick to swap one of those.tRustyK5 said:Hydraulic throwout bearings bring the suck...what a great way to ruin a clutch and create a ton more work when it fails. Just don't know how much it really helps.
