Slave cylinder question

Can I put the hose where the bleeder valve goes on top, and the bleeder valve on the side. They are the same size thread. And i realize it will be hard to bleed, but Im sure I can figure that out.

When I bought my slave cylinder,the bleeder was on the side. I swapped them with no problem.
