is THAT what sheetmetal and carpet are supposed to look like! :haha:

Funny, I just did mine ... cut out the rocker boxes (aka rustbuckets) and removed some Bondo (caked on like Tammy Fae Bakker) ...

Yours look muuuuch nicer :D ... 'course, you can prolly drive your truck at highway speeds

Where does one get three different shades of sky blue paint? Crown Victoria only comes in one shade of sky blue, whats the other 2?

So did anybody have to trim the bottom of thier doors off? I did. 3/4" to get them to close again. Which worked out well actually as the bottom 1/2" of door was rusted anyway.

Rustoleum rattlecan, baybee. "Painter's Touch" series ... the light one is "Country Blue #1924" as I recall, don't remember the others.

No expense was spared in the preparation of this vehicle for the trail, as you can see from the quality paint job and detail-oriented bodywork :haha:

Well, I discovered that I put my sliders in a bit far, as I had to bang the lower fenders in to meet the tube, and now my doors stick out. :doah:

I could trim the doors, or just wait for rocks to do it for me :haha: Tread Lightly, but carry a big sledge or Sawzall on the trail.

Scampwork Fenders.

Nice Sliders. But your fenderwells looks kinda hack. Why come I notice especially K5s tend to have bungling fendertrimming. Do all of you have parkinson or something ? :p: I can do better with my old grinder and my eyes closed.. :flipoff2:

This hole looked like a step for climbing in the cab, since he closed of the door like old desert race Bronco's. Am I right?

They should be just welded in place of the stock rocker and not attached to the frame. With the amount of surface area that that thing has contact it will spread the load quite well even with out connecting it to the frame.

nope did not have to cut the door, the tube is placed low on the square tube, alowing for a good amount of clearance for the door.

the square tube is 2x2 iirc

as for the fenders beeing hack :hack: , ya jeez i caught abunch of crap for them already :D they are NOT finished yet, as with most of the things on my truck, i cut those fenders the night before i picked up my tires, with a cordless sawsall that the batt was diying on. :hack:
but if i can make the idea in my head come out on the truck as well as it looks in my head they will look very nice when compleated
just need time and supplies
