Does anyone have pictures of what they did with the lower portion of the front fender where the bolt is when they welded sliders inplace of the rockers? I am doing this in the near future and I am not sure of what to do with the front fender interface. Do you just say F it and weld the fender to the slider? Open to suggestions also.

I didn't want to weld mine in case the fender (wheel well) needed replacement. Right now it's just sitting there, but I'm going to drill a hole in the slider and bolt the well piece to it.

Tab sticking up off the top of the slider?

A couple 5/16" bolt heads there won't look too bad, maybe some Stainless Button Heads?

That is what I was thinking I am not to concerned on looks as you can tell by the pics I have posted before:D . If I weld it and need to replace a fender I can always cut it and grind it down and weld the new one. If I have to replace fenders it will prolly be with tube only and not sheet metal anyways:D .

i let mine sit on top of it
4x4 iron said not to as the weld will tear when the body flexes

Exactly why I suggested a tab with bolt(s).
