Sliding rear window latch replacement.

I'm looking for the little latch that secures the sliding rear window on a 79 K10.
Checked all the usual sources and haven't been able to track down a replacement yet. Any ideas where I might be able to find one online?

Is it plastic or metal? The one in my truck is plastic, got it in the Help! section at advance auto, they have 2 single packs and then a 3 pack, that has 1 each of 3 different styles. Of course the one I needed was in the 3pack....They didnt sell it individually.

If its metal, try help section if you havent already, LMC, Cheyenne pickup parts, Chevy Duty etc.

the junk yard also . most all sliders use the same style latch and or hole pattern for attaching it .

i got my plastic one from the HELP! section of pepgirls. need to replace it again. dang things are so flimsy. gotta make sure they arent in the way when you slide it closed.

if yours has a metal style and you cant find a replacement, you can always use a universal slider lock. just gotta drill some holes first

Believe the side sliders and rear window pickup latch is the same.
