After putting it in, and you take it later on to a tire shop, would they be pissed, could they still fix it? Talking trailer tires here.

They would probably still fix it, but as soon as you pop the bead the ooze gets all over your tire machine and makes a mess, usually on the floor too, and it is really slippery. I never really cared for it. In a M/C shop it's a pain, but in a tire place they may not care.

its pretty gross somtimes. especially at 4:45! its just, you gotta wipe it out and prep the area instead of not prepping at all and just buffing. its an extra 5 minutes really.

just be sure that you let them know that its in there... i have heard from a friend of mine that is a mechanic that its extremely flamable and it could really do some damage if they dont know its in there and a spark hits it.

Yes we will be pissed. At least let us know. Nothing sucks more than somebody getting to wear that stuff. As far as repairing it no prob. If it is within normal guidlines that is fine.

FYI

DTC goes by the RMA (Rubber Manufacure Association) guidelines.

Slime or fix-o-flat OK. Temp/jerky plugs not.

Most shops have a designated shop vac just for slime and water in tires. We fill out 5 gallon vac weekly.
