slip yoke 205

I have a sm465/208 and going to change out and put in a 465/sy 205.
will the slip yoke from the 208 work with the 205? and will the front shaft bolt up? I think the speedo and 4x4 switch will work just dont know about the shafts. well I think thats all, thanks guys

They are both 32 splines, you may find a driveshaft length difference.

I want to swap now because I have to get a new rear shaft, just did a 6in. lift, thanks for the reply

Are you talking about converting a fixed-yoke 205 to a slip-yoke 205 or do you already have a slip-yoke 205 and you're just wondering if the existing driveshaft will fit in it?

I have a slip yoke 208 and changing to a slip yoke 205. I wanted to know if I will need to change anything(speedo,front shaft flange). Im changing it because I want the twin stick, its bada$$. I all ready have the 465/205 combo.
