slip yoke or not?

i can buy a 74 blazer k5 4x4 with a sm465, parttime 4x4(np205?) did this car came with fixed yokes on the transfercase or slip yokes? the car is 300 miles away so i didn,t see it yet.

I would guess fixed. IIRC most slip yoke 205's were in trucks.

Should have a fixed yoke, but if the case isn't stock, who knows. 74s had np203s stock didn't they? Could be a 203 with a MM part time kit in it...

Slip yokes were used on all NP205's in the 1980 model year. Having said that, I know someone will know some exceptions. Other years, I would guess fixed yoke.
