I got to comparing the SYE I purchased and soon realized that it dosent have the splines for the speedo drive /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif.Is there somewere else I can hook my cable up? /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif Any sugestions would be appriciated.

what one did you get? the short kit of super short kit? the short kit does have the splines but the super short kit does not, for electric speedos only.

I think its off of a Dodge NP205 or something /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif I bought it on here from dhdescender.

...They're all off chev 205's. You need to take the nylon speedo drive collar off your slip yoke tailshaft, and swap it over, onto the splines behind the flat portion of shaft the bearing will be installed on.

I'll see if I can find an exploded view...Or try to get a digi cam and make a "how to isntalled SYE" tech.

The problem is that there are no splines for the nylon drive gear on the shaft you sent me. I can put the drive gear on but its just going to sit there and spin.

I took a picture but I can't figure out how to post it. Apperently youve got to have your own web site to link to?Might be easier to e-mail you a pic? /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
