I have a strange situtation happening with my 87 k5:

Normally my steering is fine, nice and tight. However recently when I take a sharp corner, I hear what i think is a "click", and my steering goes all wobbly. I stop the truck and turn it off then the steering is fine again? This has hapened to me twice. I have not had the truck that long, and it has been siting in my driveway for a couple of months while I fixed some electrical problems. I checked the frame and the steering box and everything looks ok. Any thoughts?

Thanks

wheel bearings....try at a dead stop cutting the wheel full lock to full lock....start your truck, open your door and stand on the ground turning the steering wheel with one hand and crouching belowe the door looking at the draglink, see if you have any slop there....either way sounds dangerous until something is fixed...
