here are some pics of what i'm getting sucked into ...
can't even think of where to start i received my new rear floor pan. rocker panel., and inner rocker panel. they look nice but when measured up i'm beginning to think i just wasted a lot of money. does any one have any help, advice, input, thoughts. my main problem is i intended to try to maintain the stock forms and shapes as much as possible. however i'm not gm enginner or master fabricator, so does anyone think it is even worth it to try this feat or is it just not even possible without spending loads of money

go for it im in the middle of replacing the intire floor i mine its worse than yours the rest of the body is fine. its worth the time and effort to me. far as getting it back to stock it wont happen because some parts are not availabe aftermarket will need a good donor(good luck). i would post picks of mine but my photstuff is acting up at this time!

Rust holes

Yeah Mine has some of those same type of rot. I've been cutting them out and welding patches in, using stock sheet metal from Home depot. I also bought replacement parts from LMC and Goodmark. Just hang tough, start one one end and work your way around. It gets better.

yeah i was getting pretty discouraged for a little bit cause it seemed over whelming but i'm gonna get started within the week. i have some vacation days lined up to get some knocked out. by the way in the picture i was wondering if you are using a magnet ground clamp while welding. i have been trying to find one online and i can't find anyone actually selling them

Magnet

Yeah I've been using it for a while now, it works great. I got the idea from another member after reading his build up. I got mine from work but they shouldn't be that hard to find, it's a strong magnet with a bolt/nut in the center.

the one i have is made by bessey i bought mine at the local welding suply store.hopr this helps

if you know how to weld and have a little imagination, anything is possible, look at my albums on my profile page, could give you some ideas.
