Sm 465 Help!

I have a sm 465 with a 205 transfer case and i am cleaning them up and getting ready to put them in my blazer. I know you have to put it in reverse to remove the top cover but is it the same for reinstall

Yep, gotta line that reverse fork up with the gear's shift collar to install it properly
