Man, I've been racking my brain trying to remember if it is or not. It's been awhile since I rebuilt mine but I don't remember having to press a lot of stuff off. The mainshaft bushings can be a little tricky....I do remember that. Trying giving these guys a call, they know their stuff & have a lot of parts too. A-1 Transmission 303-623-1401.
I may be pulling the tranny in my K5 out soon to replace with a later 32 spline version so it may be for sale if you're interested. It was a full rebuild and has the 3rd gear spacer, updated 3rd gear & synchro design and honestly probably doesn't even have a 1,000 miles on it.

sweet it turns out that they are not pressed on but a new one is around 140 depending on where u go. thanks for the info!

yup sure is #6. i went to napa, carqwest, then auto zone. napa wanted 145, carqwest wanted 135, and auto zone didnt even know what is was. fortunatly i have a spare sm465 so i robbed the bearing off of it. i did print the info that you gave me for my flie and i know that it will come in handy. thanks for your help i appreciate it alot.

No problem ;)
If you ever need more parts for your tranny definitely look up those guys at A-1 Transmisions, they know their stuff, have most stuff in stock and good pricing. Glad you got it figured out.
