thanks man, iam gettin ready to go to the garage and find out. i'll let you know! thanksMan, I've been racking my brain trying to remember if it is or not. It's been awhile since I rebuilt mine but I don't remember having to press a lot of stuff off. The mainshaft bushings can be a little tricky....I do remember that. Trying giving these guys a call, they know their stuff & have a lot of parts too. A-1 Transmission 303-623-1401.
I may be pulling the tranny in my K5 out soon to replace with a later 32 spline version so it may be for sale if you're interested. It was a full rebuild and has the 3rd gear spacer, updated 3rd gear & synchro design and honestly probably doesn't even have a 1,000 miles on it.
sweet it turns out that they are not pressed on but a new one is around 140 depending on where u go. thanks for the info!
yup sure is #6. i went to napa, carqwest, then auto zone. napa wanted 145, carqwest wanted 135, and auto zone didnt even know what is was. fortunatly i have a spare sm465 so i robbed the bearing off of it. i did print the info that you gave me for my flie and i know that it will come in handy. thanks for your help i appreciate it alot.
