sm465/205or208combo

title says it all, im looking for an sm465/205or208 combo, with any and all accesories(swapping from 700r4). I'm in MA, but anywhere on the east coast would probably be fine. Thanks, Nate /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

Just an FYI if you don't already have the 208 for the 465 you will need it, or at least its input shaft. it is different then the input shaft on a 700R4 version 208.

If you can get the input shaft itself you can swap it into your current 208 from the 700R4. Otherwise you will need the whole 208 from the 465 because a 700R4 version 208 will not swap onto a 465 trans. The spline count on the input shafts are different.

just your run of the mill 465/205 combo. its in great looking shape, just pulled it from a non running '86 one ton crew cab 2 weeks ago (almost positive it isnt the original setup). i was amazed at how clean it was...like hardly any dirt or grease build up compared to what you usually get from a parts rig. the tranny and t-case both shift thru all gears smoothly.

it will come with both chrome shifters, shifter boots, and crossmember. i guess you can hav ethe driveshafts too if ya want. i dont need them /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

fyi...ill put it on a crate shrink wrapped and take it to the fedex freight terminal for free. my dad has a business account there, so he gets a considerable discount. i bet it'll still be expensive though since it weighs so much. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

i'll have to call the freight place tommorow (freightcenter.com)to get an exact quote, the rough one they sent was $130, which aint too too bad. but i'll have to get back to you. PM sent. Thanks
