one of my buddies runs a sm465 on a 396. it should fit a chevy small block snd big block /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

It will work. Small block and big block same bolt pattern on the bellhousing

I have a sm465 with a BBC...so for so good (except that the BBC power breaks more parts with my drving style /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif)

I had a 465 on my 454 until the one of the pressure plate bolts sheared off. The clutch that I had was made by hayes. Now I have a full manual valve body th400. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
