Ive got the 400sb w/ SM465. I busted my T/O bearing a while back and just got around to pulling everything off to get to it. The bearing came out in 3 pieces, and there were significant wear marks on the pressure plate. What is the best clutch kit for it? I didn't measure the disc that came out, and don't know if I need an 11" or 12". Also, the flywheel looks pretty bad, should I see about getting it resurfaced? or just buy a new one. Ive got about $200 to work with. I appreciate any ideas, thanks.

I would resurface the flywheel or find a clean used one.
And if you don't know what size you have for the clutch, just ask for a replacement they will know.
I usually go with a stock replacement, I am not racing or anything.:dunno:

I'd avoid 12" three finger style pressure plate like the plauge,I had three of them fail after a month or two--get a diaphram style 11 or 12" and your left leg will thank you,the pedal pressure is MUCH less than a three finger style and clamps up just as good as one if not better...

I got'r done, however I am having a problem with the shift linkage jackshaft popping off while driving. I am pretty sure I rigged the linkage correctly, could I just mod the shaft to make it longer so it doesnt fall off?

If It's falling that means It's loose you need to adjust it.
