so i put in my sm465 and i went with the hydro setup. im using a mech bell housing but i purchased this conversion from novak ( #HCR3 ) and im using the factory MC. it is all bleed right, and i found a small problem with the firewall flexing, so i put a small support. but it still barely dis disengage. the rod from the Slave to the fork is out all the way too.

my thought is that maybe the master doesn't work well with the slave. but it says it works with 3/4" to 7/8" MC.

anything will help. thanks!

by the way this was a swapp from a 700R4 to the sm465.

You don't have an adjustable pushrod on the master do you?

One I bought did, and made a big difference in clutch operation depending on how the pushrod was set up. It was threaded with a jam nut, you'd know if you have one.

i don't have that adjustable pushrod on the master... but making it longer on that pushrod would make my pedal even higher and i don't think that would be right. i was thinking maybe the bore was wrong or something. like maybe i should get something bigger so i can get more pressure in the hydro system.

bench bled the master, then bled the system through the slave. my buddy was in the car. he primmed it by pumping the pedal, then held it and i opend the slave up, then closed it. did that till the pedal felt good. i think tomorrow i might try and bleed it more. but idono, cause i talked to a tranny shop and they said it was easy, and i thought i did it right.
