Just curious as to what everyone is running with their sm465. When I change this throwout bearing again if the pressure plate looks rough I may just replace it.

Looking for suggestions and recommendations for good clutch that's going to hold up and last.

I run Luk clutches behind both of my NV4500s. It's the same clutch as a centerforce without the gold paint and weights

Mines a Sachs, been there for ~10 years. Smoked it a couple of times, still works good. Looked fine when I pulled it last time, can't say the same for the flywheel.

Centerforce Dual friction 12 inch on a Hydro bell in mine. seems to be doing ok with 38s. I was smoking the cheapo parts house ones and got madder than hell. centerforce is pricy but its holding up well

My clutch seems to be holding well, its mostly I can't keep a throwout bearing in the more than 6 months. It ate number 4 last Saturday, it had been in there since my hydro swap in may. And truck was parked from 4th of July till first of September.

I'm wondering if the front bearing retainer / input shaft is roughed up, or if its hurt the pressure plate fingers after all the bearing failures.

I killed a throwout with the mechanical linkage. switched to a hydro and its better. i kinda think my master cylinders messing up now. 6 months old and every few days i have to pump it twice before it feels "normal" again. idk almost like somethings sticking

My first two were with the linkage and I blame it for those. The third was a brand new one that just came apart the first time I pushed the clutch in when I went to hydro. The fourth I installed in may and just bit the dust the other day.

I thought all my problems would be solved with going to hydro but apparently not.

How's your clutch fork pivot ball look? Also the input bearing retainer that the TO bearing rides on, how does that look? How many times has the flywheel been resurfaced?
